A Valentine's Evening of Dance

20 to 1 Big Band return with an evening of LIVE dance music, featuring Valentine's themed tunes to mark the occasion. Whether you'd prefer to sit and listen or get up on the floor and dance your favourite routine, the choice is yours! Music styles ranging from Swing, Jive, Latin and Waltz to Rock & Pop. Also featuring live vocalists.

Phoenix Rock 'N' Roll Dance

Saturday 1st March, 7.30pm

Phoenix Rock ‘N’ Roll are a Dorset based party band with a passion for resurrecting the inspirational sound of classic 1950s to 1980s rock and roll music. Dance along to lively hits covering four decades, from Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, Shakin’ Stevens and many more.

A rag tag group of self-described ‘neeks’ (nerds and geeks) gather at midnight in a local park, to hold a ‘dry rave’ (no intoxicants). Will they succeed in redefining ‘cool’? Or will the powers that be succeed in shutting down the neek revolution? This play is presented by Dorset Drama Academy Senior and Advanced Companies as part of NT Connections 2025. Directed by Hannah Soulsby-Phillips.

Duration approximately 1hr 15mins. Recommended age 12+.

Psychic Medium Nikki Kitt is a Spiritualist Medium who is currently touring the UK with her successful Psychic / Mediumship Evenings. As a Medium, Nikki Kitt aims to provide evidence of life after life by getting links from loved ones in spirit for people in the audience with amazing accuracy in descriptions, personalities and all sorts of personal information... to give both confirmation and comfort.

Following a fantastic show at the Allendale in Spring 2024, we're delighted to welcome Cydonia Knights back in March 2025.
Cydonia Knights are a tribute to one of the world's biggest rock bands, 'MUSE'. who have sold over 20 million albums worldwide. Formed by Muse fans, for Muse fans, Cydonia Knights perform an unparalleled Muse experience as close to the real thing as possible. The band takes pride in their meticulous attention to detail. Supermassive Black Hole, Uprising, Algorithm, Reapers, Compliance and many, many more of the very best Muse tracks are performed with unprecedented accuracy. A night to look forward to!

Join Jinder and his guests, Dorset’s Rich Atkinson and Nick Capaldi. See them perform their original songs and reveal the stories behind them. Jinder blends country, folk and soft rock with 70s vibes; Rich’s Narrative Americana style is infused with jazz and gritty vocals. Nick’s music is genre-bending and imaginative. Not to be missed!

This band always fills the venue so buy your tickets in advance to avoid disappointment: £17.50 advance, £19 on the door (if any tickets left). Doors open 7pm, band on from 8pm, no support act.

Quo Connection

The authentic and approved sound of classic 70s QUO! Formed by ex-Status Quo drummer John Coghlan, the band has existed for twenty-five years in various forms. Mick Hughes, Rick Chase, Pete Mace and Russ Chadd have reformed John Coghlan’s Quo under the new name of QUO CONNECTION. Playing many of Status Quo’s hits plus some incredible album tracks, Quo Connection are eager to bring their high-octane show to you! The band provided an outstanding quality performance at the Allendale in 2024, with excellent reviews, and are returning with their new 2025 tour.
